Comment: That's a fledgling learning how to fly (it might have just flown out of its nest).  It responds to his finger as though it was a parent bird offering food.  At that stage in their development they live a fairly terrestrial life with their parent birds keeping watch over it and feeding it.  Best thing to do is to place it somewhere fairly safe not too far away from where you found it so that it can continue to develop and its parents can continue to look after it.  Also, contrary to popular thought, touching a fledgling does not typically make its parent birds subsequently stay away from it.  Avoid unnecessary touching though as it is usually stressful for the bird.  If the fledging is discovered in a relatively safe place then don't pick it up.
