Andretti managed to keep his car off the wall at Iowa Speedway, and keep his car on the track.  Granted, he crossed the finish line backwards, but he managed to keep his car in one piece.   Marco Andretti (born March 13, 1987) is an American auto racing driver who drives the No. 27 car for Andretti Autosport in the IndyCar Series.  He is the third generation of the famous Andretti racing family.  His grandfather Mario Andretti (born 1940) raced professionally for four decades and won the Formula One World Championship in 1978 and was named the "Driver of the Century" by the Associated Press and RACER magazine.
